What is up with Hollister?
I know it's the "Big thing"
but what's so great about it?
Let's take a look at one of their ad's:

What do you notice about it?
How 'bout how you hardly see any clothing.
You can hardly see the guys' jeans,
and the chick is just sandwiched in between the two guys.

This isn't an ad,
this is a photoshoot for the cover
of one of those romance novels you can get
at a supermarket.
And why would teens buy this crap?
Cause it's popular.
T.v. shows such as The O.C. and Laguna Beach
(two places I've been to before and are NOTHING like their respective shows)
has popularized this and other brands like American Eagle and A&F.

Now I can't really talk bad about any of those brands.
I've never worn any of there products so I can't really say they're bad,
but why look like every other teen between the ages of 13 and 27?
You're just becoming a clone. A satire of yourself and your age group.

Anywho, that's just my thoughts on the subject.

What's The Big Deal?

I don't really consider myself a good looking guy.
Alot of people say I am, but I just don't see it.
I don't think I'm ugly or anything, but I'm really nothing special.
I don't think it really affects my daily life.
I don't spend countless hours in front of a mirror,
looking for ways to imporve my image.
Maybe that's what I need to start doing.

Well in any case, I just don't see the big deal about me.
Maybe that will change in time, maybe it won't. I don't know.

On the subject of apperences, what's a good site with LJ layout codes?
I see everyones LJ with their fancy backgrounds and I'm all envious now.
Anyone care to hook me up?

Hello.
My name is Tyler and this is my LiveJournal.
I really don't know why I made one.
I guess just to have commentary for my life and put a humorous spin on it.

Anyway like I said I'm Tyler.
I'm 16, almost 17 and I'm a typical d00d.
I listen to music, go to school, play bass,
just same old same old.
I try to remain an individual in the world or sameness.
It seems like the cool thing now is to be like everyone else.
I hope you'll see some of the things I write as funny as I do.
If not that's fine too.

I'll try and update this as much as possible so check back every once in a while.
